A new My Melody needle felting tutorial is up on my channel!
My Melody is one of my favorite Sanrio characters! She is a little bunny who always wears a pink or red hood over her ears. After a recent trip to Sanrio Puroland, I was inspired to needle felt some of my favorite Sanrio characters, including My Melody. As a child, I used to collect Sanrio pencils, erasers, and other little cute items in my Sanrio pencil box. I loved Sanrio! I decided to re-create a My Melody Tsum Tsum that I won recently at the UFO Catcher.
This is a tutorial for needle felters who are a little more advanced. I found the flower kind of tedious and difficult to make – I think that is the most difficult part. Also, the ears are not the easiest appendages to attach because of their length.
In this video, I do not go into detail as much as I do in some of my beginner videos on things such as how to attach facial features and appendages. If you are a beginner making this piece, it may take you a little longer than the stated time. I would recommend watching
