Here’s my little easter bunny needle felting tutorial. I made this using my milk cafe needle felting kit! As you can see I just made my own creation instead of following the directions. Anything to avoid reading kanji….
While I made it for Christmas, someone commented that it’s perfect for Easter which is true, because it’s a bunny in the shape of an egg!
I think this is my favorite character out of the whole set. This and the penguin are my favorites.
Let me know if you guys end up making it! I tried to model it after this Korean bunny… Sorry I don’t know the name of the bunny but it shows up in a lot of those Korean first birthday photo shoots. Do you guys know what I’m talking about? Leave a comment below if you do!
When making this bunny, don’t forget to set aside a bit of wool for the ears before you start felting. In this tutorial, I initially made the eyes brown, then peeled them off and switched to black because I think it looks better. When making these kinds of characters, I think the face is the most important part so don’t hesitate to redo it if you don’t like how it turned out the first time! Just try to tack the pieces on gently like I did in the beginning so you can move things around and decide how you like it best.
