Hello Kawaii Felting Friends! I jumped on the Pokemon Go DIY bandwagon and made this DIY Pokemon Go Pokeball coin purse tutorial! This tutorial involves both needle felting and wet felting.
In this tutorial we will use a styrofoam ball as the base for the coin purse. Then we will tack the wool on around the styrofoam ball. Try not to poke the ball with your needle, as it may break the needle. Then once the wool is tacked on you will do a bit of wet felting using soap and water. This will help to knit the fibers together tightly and smooth out the wool. Once the wet felting process is done, you can add the details as well as the coin purse frame.
If you need help attaching the coin purse frame, check out my tutorials below
