This Candy Corn Needle Felting Tutorial is a quick and easy needle felting tutorial for Halloween! This is a great tutorial for beginner needle felters. It’s a great project to start learning how to shape something into a cone shape.
I decided to make a little candy corn and use up some of my orange wool. For some reason I tend to use pastel and lighter colors in my projects, and I end up with a lot of bold colors. I think the lighter colors tend to lend themselves to more “kawaii” or cute projects because you can put faces on pastel colors and they show up nicely.
For this tutorial, I used orange as the base, but you can use white or yellow as well and wrap the other colors around as I showed in the video. Actually, it would be better to start with a white base because then you don’t have to worry about a darker base color showing through the lighter colored wool.
In any event, I hope you enjoy this tutorial and Happy Halloween!
